FISHER & LAUREL - Staring At The Sun

FISHER & LAUREL "Staring At The Sun"

After a huge run of releases throughout 2026, FISHER returns with Staring At The Sun, joining forces with British singer-songwriter LAUREL on one of the most anticipated IDs from his sets this year.
First appearing earlier in 2026, Staring At The Sun quickly became a mainstay of FISHER’s sets and one of the most requested unreleased records of his summer. From EDC Las Vegas and Ultra Europe in Croatia to Tomorrowland, Parookaville, Creamfields and Silverworks Island London, the track has followed FISHER across the globe, while becoming a defining moment throughout his second summer residency at [UNVRS] Ibiza. The residency ran across 15 Thursday nights from June through September.
The record even found its way into an unexpected viral moment at OMNIA Dayclub Las Vegas, soundtracking a clip of Kevin Hart riding a wooden horse as the ID continued to generate attention beyond the dancefloor.
At the heart of Staring At The Sun is LAUREL’s unmistakable vocal. The British alternative-pop artist, producer and songwriter brings her cinematic approach and emotionally charged songwriting into FISHER’s world, creating a record that balances the scale and energy of his live sets with a more euphoric, emotive edge. Across albums DOGVIOLET and PALPITATIONS, LAUREL has amassed over 340 million global streams, with Scream Drive Faster alone surpassing 85 million. Her third album, CRYING ON THE TENNIS COURT, arrives in January 2027.
For FISHER, the release caps a massive 2026. His first three singles of the year — Rain, Favour with Tones And I and What A Life with Florence Arman — all reached the Top 10 of the WARM Global Dance Radio Chart, with Rain peaking at #2, Favour at #3 and What A Life debuting at #7. Favour also delivered FISHER his first #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart and his first Official UK Top 100 entry since You Little Beauty.
Now, after an entire summer of fans asking for it, Staring At The Sun finally arrives — transforming one of FISHER’s most sought-after IDs into his next major vocal anthem.
