ABOUT SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA:
Formed in 2008, Swedish House Mafia— Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso— quickly established themselves as one of the most influential acts in electronic music. They brought house music to arenas, bridging club culture and global stages through bold production, uncompromising live shows, and a clear artistic vision. The trio were the first electronic act to headline and sell out Madison Square Garden (2011) and the first to close Coachella’s main stage (2012). Their singles “Save the World” and “Don’t You Worry Child” earned GRAMMY® nominations and multi-platinum certifications. Rolling Stone described their rise as “redefining rave culture,” and NME called them “the rockstars of the dance music world.” Their record-breaking One Last Tour was followed by their surprise set as headliners of Ultra Music Festival’s 20th anniversary in 2018. The following year, they launched the Save The World Reunion Tour and shifted their focus toward a new priority: their first full-length studio album. Released in 2022, Paradise Again was the result of nearly two years in the studio. The group rebuilt their sound from the ground up, drawing on analog synthesis, experimentation, and collaboration. “We needed to find sounds in the studio we had never heard before,” said Steve Angello. “This is one of the most exciting times for us. We’re having fun like 15-year-olds again.” The album featured contributions from The Weeknd, Sting, A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign, Seinabo Sey, and Fred again. It debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart and the UK Dance Albums Chart. Songs like “Redlight,” “Frankenstein,” and “Don’t Go Mad” pushed the group into new territory both sonically and structurally. Critics praised the scope of the work. Pitchfork described the album as “richer in texture and grander in scope than previous releases.” NME awarded it four stars, calling it “a reclaiming of their title” and writing simply: “it slaps.” The group headlined Coachella alongside The Weeknd in 2022, a performance The Guardian called “off the wall.” The album’s lead single, “Moth To A Flame,” became a global hit, reaching gold or platinum status in nine countries and joining Spotify’s Billion Club. The group also co-wrote and coproduced “Sacrifice” and “How Do I Make You Love Me?” on The Weeknd’s Dawn FM, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200. The Paradise Again World Tour followed, covering 29 cities in 11 countries across two continents. During this period, the group also released the single “Turn On The Lights again..” with Fred again.. and Future. In 2023 and 2024, Swedish House Mafia returned to the stage with key performances at Tomorrowland, Brooklyn Mirage, and their first-ever Ibiza residency at Ushuaïa. They also released a series of new singles: Ray of Solar, Lioness featuring Niki & The Dove, and Finally featuring Alicia Keys. In 2025, they launched Superhuman—their new creative home and label. It began with Flood, Sebastian Ingrosso’s first solo release in eight years, followed by No Enemies, a collaboration between Ingrosso, Steve Angello, and Namasenda. Superhuman will serve as the primary platform for future Swedish House Mafia releases, as well as a launchpad for a new generation of emerging talent.

JON SPOON & STREGA - Hold On

JON SPOON & STREGA - Hold On (TB Media/KNM)JON SPOON & STREGA "Hold On"

SEAN PAUL, &FRIENDS - Get Busy (Club Mix)

SEAN PAUL, &FRIENDS - Get Busy (Club Mix) (TH3RD BRAIN)SEAN PAUL, &FRIENDS "Get Busy (Club Mix)"

&friends is the global musical concept of DJ and Producer Sean Peckenham, driven by the vision to create a project embodying tradition, culture and community. His new track “Get Busy (Club Mix) alongside the Jamaican dancehall singer and rapper Sean Paul, has taken this early 2000s hit to a whole new level. Fusing Sean Paul’s unmistakable sound with &friends’ vision, this track allows listeners to fall back into nostalgia with an entirely new flair.

1. What first inspired you to reimagine Sean Paul's iconic "Get Busy," and why did this feel like the right record to reinterpret?

I've always loved taking songs that have lived with us for years and imagining what they'd sound like if they were born today, born purely for the dancefloor. Not to replace the original, that's obviously impossible, but to let people experience it through a different lens, through mine.

I remember when my team told me Sean Paul was also playing at Coachella (shout-out to Mark), I immediately wanted to remake this one, as I’ve always been a huge fan of his. I couldn’t help imagining what it would feel like if that same “Get Busy” energy found its way onto today's dancefloors. Something that respected where it came from and kept that same “let the animal out of the cage” feel while introducing it to a completely different world and audience.

And once I started playing it out live, every single time it came on, people just lost it in the best way possible. That's when I knew there was something special and we had a big record.

The dancefloor never lies.

2. When approaching a song as culturally significant as "Get Busy," how do you balance honoring the original while creating something entirely your own?

It’s a tall ask, right? It’s not something you want to overproduce, but at the same time you want to make sure you’re bringing some new flavor and sauce without it being cookie-cutter. You’ve got to thread that needle of novelty and familiarity; it’s a delicate dance if you want to do it right.

I think it also starts with having immense respect for Sean and the original. The reason it became a classic is because of the feeling it gives people. So I never wanted to change that feeling, I more so just wanted to build a new world around it.

If people hear my version and it makes them want to go listen to Sean's again...that's a win.

3. How would you describe the sonic direction of this remix, and what emotions or experience do you hope listeners walk away with?

I wanted it to feel familiar, but also like they'd never heard it before.

It’s one of those records where you don't even think about dancing; your body just starts moving, and you have no control over what it’s doing. To me, it’s the absolute freedom of expression, without a care or worry about what you look like. That’s what I wanted this to be for people.

It still has everything people love about the original, but I pulled it into my world with a lot more percussion, groove, and bounce. It's playful. It's got attitude. It's one of those tracks where you look around, and everyone's got the biggest smile on their face, and they’re letting their animal out of the cage.

That's always my favorite kind of dancefloor.

4. If listeners could take away just one feeling after hearing this remix, what would you want it to be?

Freedom.

I know that sounds deep for a booty shaker, haha, but I really mean it.
For four or five minutes, I just want people to let loose. Stop worrying about looking cool, stop overthinking everything, and just dance and fully express themselves. Let the body do whatever it wants to do.

Some of the best moments in life happen when you forget anyone's watching :)

5. This remix isn't about recreating a hit, it's about...

bringing that same iconic energy to a completely different dancefloor and reminding people that sometimes your body knows what it needs before your mind does.
