Following the global success of “Mwaki,” Zerb and Sofiya Nzau return with another powerful collaboration. “Mwaki” became a worldwide sensation — hitting #2 on the Global Shazam Charts, #1 on the Global Viral Charts, and surpassing 300 million streams in its first year. This time, they’re joined by A-list songwriter Izzy Bizu for a three-way collaboration that delivers the ultimate dance-pop anthem for summer with the vocals mixing English and Kikuyu.

From Viral Hit to Global Dance Star: The Rise of Zerb
In late 2023, Brazilian DJ and producer Zerb catapulted into the international spotlight with “Mwaki”, a genre-blending collaboration with Kenyan vocalist Sofiya Nzau. Fusing Afro-house rhythms with soaring Kikuyu vocals, the track quickly went viral on TikTok, dominating global charts (top 1 viral global for 2 weeks and the 2nd most shazamed song in the world) and introducing Zerb’s sound to a worldwide audience. With its hypnotic groove and emotional weight, “Mwaki” became an anthem — not only for dancefloors, but for cultural connection through music.
As the song amassed over 300 million streams and drew attention from heavyweights like Diplo, Major Lazer, and Tiësto, Zerb’s momentum accelerated. In 2024, he made history as the first Brazilian artist to officially remix a Coldplay track, putting his own spin on “feelslikeimfallinginlove” during the band’s European tour. The remix captured his signature balance of melodic depth and festival-ready energy.
Building on that success, Zerb expanded his reach through major collaborations. He released “Addicted” with The Chainsmokers and rising vocalist and AAA writer Ink, blending pop accessibility with deep electronic textures. Location with Ty Dolla $ign and Wiz Khalida further signals his crossover potential experimenting different genres inside of his own signature, as a industry heavyweight thru his own productions and high profile collaborations.
Location is close to 100 Million streams on all DSP's, and massive airplay over Europe.
Behind the scenes, Zerb signed a global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music, joined the roster at UTA for international bookings, and is managed by boutique agency Salt N Pepper Management. His core label partner, TH3RD BRAIN, continues to support his creative evolution.
In 2025, Zerb released tracks like “24h in a Disco,” “In Love Today” showcasing that he can do all sorts of music on a high level, each expanding his sonic universe while staying rooted in the emotional storytelling that defines his work. With upcoming tours, new collaborations, and a growing global fanbase, Zerb is not just riding a wave — he’s helping shape the sound of modern electronic music.
