KYGO & KYLA LA GRANGE - Cut Your Teeth

Kygo - oder Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, wie der 22jährige Produzent aus Norwegen mit bürgerlichem Namen heißt, - hat die Internet-Gemeinschaft mit einer ganzen Reihe von hochkarätigen Remixen für Künstler wie Coldplay, aber auch mit inoffiziellen Mixen von Songs für Ed Sheeran, M83 und Ellie Goulding im Sturm erobert.

Mit fast 250.000 Abonnenten bei Soundcloud, beinahe 40 Millionen Aufrufen der Songs in seinem Kanal und nicht weniger als 10 Nummer-1-Erfolgen in den Hype Machine Charts ist Kygo zu einem wahren Phänomen unserer Zeit geworden. Schon heute hat er das Zeug dazu, die größten Hallen weltweit bis auf den letzten Platz zu füllen. Zurzeit ist Kygo mit dem Feinschliff an einem neuen Remix für Lana Del Reys ''West Coast'' (Polydor) sowie mit seiner einzigartigen Aufbereitung von KYLA LA GRANGE Single ''Cut Your Teeth'' beschäftigt.

Sein Remix von ''Cut Your Teeth'' war zunächst eine nicht autorisierte Bootleg-Aufnahme, die aber direkt auf Platz 1 der Hype Machine Charts landete und nun zum offiziellen Remix erklärt wurde; mit internationalem Erfolg in den iTunes Electronic Charts. KYLA und Kygo arbeiten nun zusammen an neuem Material; darunter auch ein Song für Kygo's bald erscheinendes Debütalbum.

Kygo, also known as 22 year-old Norwegian producer Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, has taken the online world by storm recently with a slew of high-profile remixes for artists such as Coldplay as well as unofficial ones for Ed Sheeran, M83 and Ellie Goulding. Boasting almost 250,000 followers on SoundCloud and plays in excess of almost 40 million on his channel, not to mention at least 10 Hype Machine #1’s - Kygo truly is a modern age phenomenon.

Already capable of selling-out arena sized shows across the international marketplace, Kygo is currently putting the finishing touches to a new remix for Lana Del Rey’s ''West Coast'' (Polydor) as well as his unique rework of KYLA LA GRANGE's single ''Cut Your Teeth''.

His remix of ''Cut Your Teeth'' started life as an unauthorised bootleg and went straight to no. 1 on the Hype Machine, and has now become an official remix, charting on the iTunes Electronic chart all over the world! KYLA and Kygo are now working together on more material for the future, including a track for Kygo's forthcoming debut artist album.
